Comments This was my third T46 group dinner. With each new dinner, the compatibility and interest level in each of my tablemates continue to surprise me. I enjoyed the dinner immensely. No romantic sparks but a lively and entertaining evening. Thank you Kate!

With whom did I connect best? Why? G.J. was very upbeat and friendly though I sometimes felt that she dominated the conversation. I connected best with S.N.and D.B. energy wise, humor, and in personality. I did not seem to have so much in common with P.T. though he was very pleasant and nice to talk to.

What did you do on your first meeting? Basically, had glass of wine and talked and then dinner was served. The ambiance was good and the location was great. 
What was your first impression? He was there at the bar when upon my arrival and some how I spotted him. I was impressed. He is attractive. 
What was your overall impression when
the date was over?		 I thought some chemistry is there… He smiled a lot and he is not boring. He is optimistic and he has a good career. He seemed open and appeared to be honest. He seemed to be a gentleman. We talked a tad about my spirituality. Overall, I do see myself wanting to know a bit more about him.
Have you set up another date? He has my cell number.
What were the positives of this meeting? He has beautiful teeth (physically attractive. It was easy to have a meaningful conversation and he seemed comfortable with me as I was with him. We talked about career and history of our family dynamics. He also was kind to walk me to my car.

Would you like to have another date with this person? I am willing to see him again. He could be fun to hang out with.
What did you do on your first meeting? We basically stayed at the bar for quite awhile and talked. Then walked around a bit to get some fresh air.
What was your first impression? Pleasant face, interesting voice, he was nervous at first.
What was your overall impression when
the date was over?		 He is an open, nice man with a good attitude, just as you said Maggie.
Have you set up another date? I have him my number and he said he will call by the end of the week.
What were the positives of this meeting? He seems very tolerant of lots of ideas and folks, open to learning new ideas (I shared some), seemingly open to sharing info about him.
Additional Comments So the interesting part was his focus on money. He must have mentioned something about $ at least 6 times during out brief time together. This is quite the contrast to my last dating companion (L.C., whom you know!), who was happy to spend lots of money on me, but was quite stingy about being physically affectionate (e.g., literally hugging)! Ahhh men, endlessly fascinating…

Comments The thick blanket of smoke from the Bonny Doone fires turned the sun into a crimson ball and the moon screaming orange. It was an eerie sight and added to the atmosphere of the event. AWESOME!!!

considered (especially the learning curve!), I am VERY MUCH impressed that

you had the “first dinner” instincts to pair me with T.C. Although

it was not a romantic match (and really, what are the odds of that?), his

random sense of humor is exactly my style and his personality is almost

interchangeable with that of my great guy friends….Your ability to

interpret the limited information on paper and actually DELIVER someone

close the first time deserves a MAJOR compliment! I have total confidence

Comments D.K., E.P. and I hit it off very well. T.N. and P.L. hit it off really well though so that was good. I really enjoyed talking with E.P. May have joked with her too much about growing up on a farm but I think she did not mind to much :-)  E.P. was very beautiful. Loved that she’s a morning person, works out, has a good relationship with her parents and was a warm, friendly, and easy to talk and joke with person.

What were the positives of this meeting? Both our fathers are Humboldt Award winners for Chemistry! My Dad won a Humboldt in 80 (ish) and her Dad won a Humboldt in 89 (ish). The Humboldt award is given out by Germany and is similar to a Nobel prize but it’s not quite as high honors. There were an amazing number of similarities: Both of us are very intelligent, outdoorsy, energetic, smart people. We both love birds, backpacking and have studied animal behavior.

Comments A fun group, W.O. was kind of interesting, she has that very quiet smiling Irish way about her, the one that says “you don’t know what you’re missing”. Comments The dinner was very enjoyable. The table was situated in a nice quiet area and there was no problem with hearing everyone. Sometimes the restaurants are loud and it is difficult to hear everyone. Plus the table was round and everyone was equal distance from each other, so it was easier to converse with the others at the table. The tablemates were all very open and we had some nice conversations. A couple of ladies encountered traffic and were a bit late, but we managed to keep everyone at the table engaged and when the others arrived they were welcomed warmly. I had been to other tables in the past where some people were late and it threw things off a bit or they never showed, but this time it worked out fine. Plus Kate and Vichita (sp?) did a good job of keeping us informed of their status.
I am Interested in Contacting I don’t know if I am ready to ask about contacting R.B. I would like to get to know her better- she was wonderful- but it may be too soon to ask for her contact info since she is new to T46. However, I would like to perhaps dine with her again at a table in the future if that is possible.
With whom did I connect best? Why? R.B., D.O.and W.A. was very good conversationalists and story-tellers. I had met H.T. at another dinner, so we were familiar with each other. Poor F.C. had a difficult work day and encountered traffic on the way to the restaurant, so she was understandably under stress. She was a real trooper to still attend the dinner even though it had been a long day for her. We all admired her for that. I really liked R.B. She was very warm, engaging, had beautiful eyes, and had a very interesting and varied work history from around the world. She was also just a very comfortable person to be around.

Comments As a group, I thought we all got along very well. Everyone present was calm, pleasant to talk to, engaging, and willing to share interesting stories to keep us there till 10pm! I enjoyed this second meeting even more than the first. Great job T46!
I am Interested in Contacting I would be interested in talking with G.C. again either by exchanging cell numbers or possibly meeting at a future event like the hike in Marin or ropes course if he is interested.
With whom did I connect best? Why? I connected with F.O. in a brotherly way. F.O. is a thoughtful, kind-hearted person. T.Y.was somebody I would like to work with. He was a good communicator, intelligent, and conscientious. But I best connected with G.C. I enjoyed talking about food, language, and travel with him (I spent some time in the south of France). I found him to be very intelligent and interesting but also well-rounded in his social life and physical activities. I thought it was a good balance. There also seemed to be some chemistry there. Is he older than me? It just seemed that he has a lot of experience and memories of this and that – all indicative of a well-traveled, educated, professional man. In fact, most of the men so far have seemed older than me or perhaps I have tended to date younger men than older? Not sure. Not bad. Anyhow, just an opinion, and maybe not an entirely accurate account.

Comments This was one of the most fun tables I’ve ever had! D.O. is one of the prettiest and nicest women in T46. I wish we were closer in age. I’ve always liked Cal Cafe’ but this time, the food was fantastic! I had a pork chop to die for!

Comments This was a great table! We were the last TF6 group to leave (and almost closed out the place). The entire evening was nonstop chatter, banter, and a lot of fun. Sometimes the table chemistry works well than at other times. This was one of those wonderful times when it seemed that it all came together for a great evening. I am Interested in Contacting I would very much like to contact W.L. I spent a fair amount of the time talking with her and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. She’s bright, articulate, and attractive. We have also both come from very long-term marriages and have children in the same age brackets. She was easy to talk to and greatly contributed to a wonderful dining experience. I gave her my card and she accepted it, but I have no other way to contact her except through our wonderful and revered dining coordinator… Thank you, Kate.
With whom did I connect best? Why? I really connected best with W.L. We have close enough age ranges, are relatively recently divorced after very long marriages, each have two children with similar ages, good jobs, etc. I enjoyed talking with her and getting to know a bit about her. She is outspoken, speaks her mind and isn’t shy about asking for what she wants. As always, I enjoy having a table with F.B.  I value his insight into things and his ability to keep the table talk going. He’s a real asset to TF6 dining. G.O. sometimes comes across as the “class clown” in some ways. He was in fine form at this table. He and R.M. made a fine pair and kept the rest of us laughing…

Comments The show was great and plenty of laughs for everyone, and I liked the surrounding atmosphere. Heather again picked a very good comedian for this event and hope more are in the works.

With whom did I connect best? Why? I did have a pleasant time with K.R. which was next to me and we did talk for some time after the show. Time will tell with any relationship and we did make it a point to see each other again.
