I liked K.L. (okay, it’s either K.L. or R.N.). I like the down to earth type that seems stable and fun. I like the fact that he goes places with his daughter and he likes the outdoors. He even likes to dance but I do a different kind of dancing then he does. He also reminds me of my friend’s husband who is a terrific guy. |

| What did you do on your first meeting? | We met for drinks in San Jose. Our conversation flowed nicely so we decided to have some appetizers as well. |

| What was your overall impression when the date was over? | L.S.appears to be a really good man. Sincere, open, able to share about himself and capable of carrying on interesting conversation. I get a good energy from him. I think we may have similar values and perspectives on the world. He seems settled with his job. Not necessarily happy but settled. I wonder what else he would be willing to settle for? I am looking for a confident man that is willing to take risks to live the life he really wants. This is by no means a deal breaker. It is just an observation. L.S. shared that his job really interferes with his personal life. I would like to see him again. And it sounds like that could get difficult due to his work schedule. |

I’m sure that the folks who have only seen me in shorts and a t-shirt while kayaking, camping, rafting, and other activities now know that I scrub up pretty good. I now know it too. When I was younger I had a dream of working as hard as the guys (I was a wild land firefighter for seven seasons) during the day and being the belle of the ball at night. Mission accomplished I felt very pretty and had a great time gambling and dancing. |

The scoop: I found him to be handsome, very open about sharing his life experiences, easy to talk to, I liked the way he interacted with other people, and finally maybe there’s some chemistry(?). |

I also enjoyed the volleyball and frisbee throwing. I could have almost done without the water balloon game, although it did seem to work out once I came up with something to say (honestly, it was probably one of those “it’s probably good for me, but I don’t have to like it” things).
