I approached my first dinner (and event for that matter) with an open mind, zero expectations, and a genuine interest in simply meeting some new people. Overall, my first experience was pleasant. |
| I am Interested in Contacting |
At this point, I’m just acclimating myself to the idea of meeting a potential date through a group dinner. I’m used to asking someone out and doing something in more of a 1-on-1 setting. As a result, I feel I have to condition myself a little to make simultaneous assessments of several women I’ve never met before. Going on mass blind dates wasn’t a common occurrence in my dating life before;) Nevertheless, I did enjoy speaking with everyone at the table. Taking everything into account (personality, physical attraction, etc.), I would be interested in possibly contacting A.S.. She actually sat across the table from me, so I probably had the chance to speak to her the least. However, we shared some good laughs when conversation picked up across the table, and she generally seemed fun & sociable. |
| With whom did I connect best? Why? |
I was focusing more on taking in the experience as opposed to establishing a connection with any single person there. Consequently, I feel it’s a bit too early to say I established a connection (in an absolute sense) with any of my tablemates. Since the question is relative, however, I’d say I connected best with A.S. and T.H. (albeit for different reasons). A.S. seemed easygoing, energetic, and curious…in the good sense of the word;) T.H. seemed ambitious, confident, and genuine. |
