Great class! As I reflect on some of my T46 activities and past experiences, I can see how I haven’t allowed my personality/qualities to come through. Dan gave me a LOT to think about by way of my communication in social settings. At the last T46 event (wine tasting) I had an uncomfortable situation with a participant… and even though instinctively I did what Dan suggested (“I’m going to go mingle now”… & lots of non verbal qeues), if I’m in the situation again, I’ll just have to be FAR more direct… & say “no thank you”. I’m realizing he is SO similar to the last couple guys I’ve dated… I’m attracted to outgoing, adventurous, nature-loving, witty types. If he wore glasses, that would be a plus,… but for now, that’s forgivable, hahaha. In all seriousness, this was a good event. I learned SO much. I’d consider utilizing Dan’s services (or the like)…. if I wasnt saving $ for a new car. |

Ironically, I wasn’t focused on mingling during this event– I was focused on “learning” so that can I apply my new info at a future T46 event. I’m not interested in dating David, but I have to give him props. (we were in the same group) He is very detail oriented and thoughtful. He sort of naturally played the role of our team leader. |
