The Experience was Fabulous

Hi gals

I went on the website, but there’s no ‘feedback’ function for T42 dates. Maybe I’m overlooking the obvious….

Anyway, I thought I should l share about last night so I’m sending this email…

I had a really great time w/ M.N.
She was really personable, very attractive, & nicely dressed.

To be honest, I was really looking forward to meeting her (an attractive, Irish-Catholic sports fan – what’s not to love?), and I had a similar vibe from her as well (I assume you put in a good word for me).

We had a very nice dinner together.

At the end, I did ask if I could call her (Angel, you sent me her cell over email) and she said that was fine.

I’ll definitely follow-up.

Please share any feedback (good & bad) that she might share… I’m thinking it went well.

From my side, it’s pretty much all positive.

My only reservation revolves around my past experience w/ dating someone w/ kids (my ex-fiancee), and the heartbreak that I’ve had in losing that connection.

Every situation is different, but it is definitely a complicating factor for me.

Some general comments…

The Table for Two experience was fabulous!!

I can see why some people vastly prefer it to the group dinners.

There’s the excitement of meeting someone specifically interested in you.

Plus, it’s a great forum to get to know someone – I learned more way about M.N, and shared more about me, than at any group dinner (in fact, probably more than on the follow-up dates that I’ve had as well).

On a somewhat tangential note, I noticed that M.N. was from the Walnut Creek club.

Can I ask how you gals found her for me?

When I signed-up, Kim really pushed the Walnut Creek area as a potential source of attractive prospects.

After meeting M.N., I’d have to say that Kim was definitely right!

Anyway, thanks so much. I had a really great time w/ M.N.

Please keep me in mind whenever you come across somebody who could be a great fit!

Comments	K.J. is exactly the kind of girl i am interested in. She is drop dead gorgeous, very intelligent, not at all stuffy, a great sense of humor, an adventurous spirit (she went diving with sharks!) Thats awesome. I really, really like her!

With whom did I connect best? Why?	Im not always the best at reading people, but it felt like K.J. and I connected. We were laughing a lot and it seemed we have a similar sense of humor. I really like that she is a smart professional women, but she is not stuffy and has a youthful spirit and seems a bit edgy. I love to laugh, and i got the sense she does to. I was being rather silly at dinner and I felt like maybe she understood I was just playing and having a good time. And she is the same way. Does not take life too serious and knows whats important.

Comments	This was a high quality table judging from looks and intelligence. These people could all be personal friends, their demeanor was terrific. The table dynamic was good.
I am Interested in Contacting	E.L, we spoke a bit (across the person sitting between us, F.R.), we caught eachother sneaking long peeks at the other one, it went well, but I wish there could have been more. At the end of the dinner, E.L. had to run off, I was hoping for a chance to walk her to her car.
With whom did I connect best? Why?	F.R. and J.S. had a great rapport going between themselves. I did have a nice chat with H.C. after the dinner about some common business interests, although he is handsome and European so maybe I should have asked him out (NOT)

I say mostly because there are a few things that I am not sure about but I am pretty sure they are directly connected to the fact that he is never around due to his job. (Like he’s not settled in an apt with his furniture, no car) He was very gentlemanly. However, that being said, if this continues past the second date I am interested to see what his plans are for his future. Which will be interesting since he’s only 26 (I know age is just a number but it will be interesting to find out if he’s ready to settle down soon or not – and I know that’s not early date conversation so I’m keeping my questions locked up until a later date : ) ) Over all I enjoyed his company and am looking forward to our second date.

What was your first impression?	My first impression by messages and phone was that she was a very happy and cheerful person, and when I met her in person she seemed a bit older than I expected, but that was not an impediment for me.
What was your overall impression when the date was over?	That she is a great person, I liked her and I felt chemistry. She is the kind of girl that I would take home and meet with family.

You Made Me Fee More Confident

I had a great time last Friday at dinner for six in San Francisco. I appreciate your advise prior to dinner and you provided me with some great tips which was very useful that evening! I felt very comfortable speaking with you on the phone as you are very professional, warm and a great listener. I am looking forward to working with you on this journey to hopefully finding that special person who can share my life.
I was skeptical at the beginning when i joined as a member but last Friday’s dinner made me feel more confident of your company’s service. I am looking forward to my date with J.L. next Thursday and I will definitely keep you posted.

Comments	I really enjoyed dining with this group. I found the men very intelligent and engaging. I didn’t get to know K.M. or Y.L. but that was because they were always in a conversation with one of the men : )
I am Interested in Contacting	B.P., in one word, was delightful. I really had fun sitting next to him. He is fun, lively, and I found his honesty so refreshing. what did he say about me? Taking that nap during lunch resulted in me being quite the chatterbox during dinner. I would be open to seeing him again. I like J.T.’s understated confidence and found him to be very intelligent and nice. If he lived closer, I would be open to developing a friendship with him. Physcially and geographically, I think me may be better matched with K.M.or Y.L. : )

Everyone was Super Cool

Comments	Although in downtown San Jose which isn’t always the best area to drive in. Once we were in the restaurant, it didn’t matter. I really liked the restaurant. It wasn’t too crowded and the hostess got me to the right table immediately. Everyone was there except C.P. who was coming from farther away. The table was round and inviting (love “round” tables) and everyone was super cool. We all got along really well, laughed and talked a lot. D.P. is very funny. I did my usual talkative thing, which is what I do. The ambience and the vibe was really good. I felt comfortable with this group. C.P. arrived not long after – We were having a good time. I enjoyed hearing what everyone had to say and also sharing info. no one drank alcohol which was ok by me (doesn’t matter), yet we were all communicating well…loved that! salmon salad was DELICIOUS!
I am Interested in Contacting	I’d be interested in contacting D.P. and perhaps A.V.. D.P. was witty and very funny. He made me laugh many times. At one point, I said, “And who’s the creative writer in the group?” (because I’d forgotten) and D.P. said, “Hey, I thought you were!” We laughed for a long time about that. Yes for D.P. I also really liked the girls - D.P. and C.P. were both GREAT! Loved them both. C.P. and I are both single Moms too. she has a lot of connection to San Francisco too, which I do as well. A.V. was sweet and L.E. was nice, but he was a bit more reserved..I wouldn’t mind contacting A.V.– definitely D.P.. maybe get to know A.V. better too?
With whom did I connect best? Why?	As far as the guys, I definitely felt the best connection with D.P.. I’m trying to pinpoint it. I loved his wit and his humor, yet I know that underneath the humor he really wants to be in a relationship with someone. I also liked the fact that he doesn’t drink much (I’m not too picky about that), but I was impressed with how he was able to have such a great time and communicate so well without drinking. I also found him to be attractive physically (although I’m doing my best to look past that, hehehehe!)…physical connection was there, yet he was a complete and total gentleman. He’s the type of guy I could talk to about anything…something about him. I liked him a lot! I liked A.V.and even L.E., but didn’t feel as much connection to them as I did to D.P.. He didn’t talk too much about writing, but he didn’t need to. I’d love to get to know him better. how funny that all three guys are engineers!
Future Event Suggestions	The restaurant was perfect, however, downtown San Jose is tough get around in at times (at least for me it is!). I’d go back to that restaurant (loved it way more than the other one I went to). would LUV to go out in downtown Mountain View or Sunnyvale…I love those downtown areas and it’s not quite as difficult to get around in. Comments	It was great! I enjoyed interacting with my table-mates. The guys were attractive, decent, and humorous. It turned out that D.C., H.K., and I all went to UC Santa Cruz! L.F. and A.R. both were very pleasant, beautiful, and fun to hang out and talk to. I REALLY enjoyed meeting them all. There were laughter and good conversations. I felt the positive and upbringing atmosphere all through the dinner.

With whom did I connect best? Why?	I felt J.L. and I had common interest in contributing to the society and charity of drinking water and environment. Future Event Suggestions	I really like having dinner or just for two arrangements in Palo Alto and Redwood City area (or even Mountain View). Comments	Hi Anni, It was a very nice table for six. Everybody seem to get along well. I sat next to F.K., we had a good conversation. I did talk to M.R. and S.C. and the other two girls A.L. and V.U. as well. They have very nice personality. I really enjoyed it. I think these type of good I would love to go out more.

I am Interested in Contacting	For certain, I’d like to contact J.P., M.P. and M.C. P.G. was on my left and J.P. on my right and S.H. I’m also interested in contacting them.
With whom did I connect best? Why?	Connected best with J.P. why? Identified with his being in software and quality assurance (I used to be a software engineer and now do QA in my clinical work). He’s very intelligent, appreciates art, took ballroom dance lessons. Seems kind, gentle and patient. Has traveled. His Chicago accent is ok, his son lives in NYC (where I went to college and like to visit). M.C. seems kind, patient and intelligent. I’d like to visit the Steinbeck Museum in her town, Salinas. Didn’t get a chance to speak with M.C. much because he was too far away. Wouldn’t mind getting to know him better, tho.

What did you do on your first meeting?	L.Y. and I met for a late lunch and chatted.
What was your first impression?	My first impresion was wow, she is young, but very pretty. Then I was thinking “Dee”!!!!!!!
What was your overall impression when the date was over?	After our three hour lunch chat, I was give the impression L.Y. is a very nice, kind, sweet young lady. Even though she is a little younger than anyone I would normally date, L.Y. has a great head on her shoulders. I feel she is the real honest deal. From our conversation, I gathered she has an awesome family, and great morals, and desires a future and family with someone. It appears we share some similar interest, and she has an open mind. After thinking things out after leaving, what more can I say, L.Y. is a great drama free girl. Who wouldn’t want to get to know her. The only thing I only thing I did think about after leaving was she didn’t ask much questions about me. Well if she’s interested then I guess there’s plenty of time to ask.
Have you set up another date?	No, I wanted to ask but for some reason I was a little to nervous to ask especially after a nice hug goodbye. I figured I would leave this into Dee’s hands. My fingers are crossed. I don’t even have her number. LOL
What were the positives of this meeting?	The postives were L.Y. is easy to talk to, down to earth, real. She is that girl next door type that any guy who wants a nice sweet girl would want to know.

Comments	I think this was the best table for six experience yet…I was the last to show up (but not late!)…I immediately liked everyone at the table! I can’t explain why, but I did.
I am Interested in Contacting	Believe it or not, I liked all three guys time time around! I also liked the girls L.K and L.O. a lot. J.G. had a nice smile and I found him to be very pleasant…G.N. was cool too and so was D.S. Conversation was good. I wouldn’t mind contacting everyone in our group! Seriously.
With whom did I connect best? Why?	Hmm…at first I thought it was G.N…I liked him a lot…found him really cool and down to earth and I like the fact he used to work with high school kids. J.M. was charming and had the best smile ever..oh yes, and D.S. knew about the ukulele jam on the beach! J.M. is cool and down to earth…gosh it was hard to choose this time around. I really liked them all!!! I got eye contact with J.M…but not much eye contact with G.N. or D.S., but I like all three! I’d luv to see them again!!!

Comments	The place was nice, but a touch more expensive than I would’ve liked. The waitstaff left us pretty much alone, which was nice while having conversation, but they seemed reluctant to bother us to take our order, so it took awhile. Tablemates were very nice and conversation was good. R.T. was great though!
I am Interested in Contacting	I’m definitely interested in seeing R.T. again. He’s very handsome, I’m curious how old he is? We seemed to share a lot of similar interests. Hope he’s interested in seeing me again as well!

Comments	I had a great time meeting all my table mates. A.R., M.C., J.N. and V.K. stayed another 20mins after dinner to chat. You’re right about A.R….she is very quiet. I did try to get both A.R and E.T. involved in the conversation. A.R. parked really far and I parked in the same direction so I walked her to her car. She really opened up on a one on one. J.N., V.K. and I pretty much carried the conversation for the table.
